We are Craig Jackson and John Dalziel, the co-founders and owners of Distrikt Coffee. Our journey into the world of coffee is just as unconventional as the path we navigated through rugby. As former professional players, now coaching at the very highest level, both domestically and on the international stage, we have learned the importance of precision, dedication, and we hold a true passion for performance.
Having always enjoyed the connection coffee brings with friends and teammates a like, our first venture into coffee began in 2020 with a humble coffee trailer, serving freshly brewed coffee to our local community who shared our love for great flavour and connection. It was there, in the early mornings and countless conversations with customers, that we realised coffee was more than just a drink—it was a way to bring people together.
With that experience and passion fuelling us, we’ve taken the next step to expand our vision. At Distrikt Coffee we are dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee.
Just as in rugby, where every action and every decision matters, we quickly realised that the art of coffee roasting requires the same level of focus, innovation and attention to detail. From sourcing the finest beans to perfecting the roasting process, we approach every batch with the same mindset, striving for excellence.
